The short version: AI Breaking Point is an independent information website about the risks of artificial intelligence. Everything here is general information, not professional advice. You are responsible for what you post. We can remove anything that breaks the rules. Use the site at your own discretion.

1. Who we are and accepting these terms

AI Breaking Point (“we”, “us”, “the site”) is operated by AI Breaking - Daniel Bettoun. By visiting or using the site at https://aibreakingpoint.com you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

The site publishes explanatory articles, summaries of news and research about the risks of artificial intelligence, a live public poll, and a community area where visitors can post, comment, like and share. The site is provided free of charge.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing on the site is legal, financial, medical, psychological, security or any other professional advice. Do not rely on the site to make decisions about your health, money, safety or legal rights — consult a qualified professional. If you or someone else is in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services immediately.

4. Our content

Our articles and summaries are written and edited by the AI Breaking Point team. We may use AI tools to help research and draft, but every item is reviewed before publication and, where it reports facts or events, is linked to the original source. News summaries describe reporting by third parties; the original publishers are responsible for their own reporting.

Images on the site are AI-generated illustrations and are labelled as such. They are illustrative only and do not depict real people or real events.

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, logo and original content of the site are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. Any other copying or republishing requires our written permission. Trademarks and content of third parties belong to their respective owners.

5. Your account-free participation

You can post, comment, like, share, report and vote without creating an account, using a nickname of your choice. To do so you must be at least 16 years old. You must not use a nickname that impersonates another person or organisation.

6. Content you post

• Your content is public. Anything you post can be seen, copied and shared by anyone.
• You are responsible for it. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.
• Licence to us. You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for example for layout or length) and distribute it on the site and in promotion of the site. This licence ends when your content is removed from the site, except for copies already shared by others.
• Views are not ours. Posts and comments express the views of their authors only, not of AI Breaking Point. We do not verify, endorse or take responsibility for user content.

7. What is not allowed

Everything listed in our Community Guidelines, and in particular: illegal content; hate speech; harassment or threats; sexual content; content involving minors in any harmful way; private information about other people; spam and advertising; malware or links to it; impersonation; attempts to manipulate the poll or the like counts (for example with bots, scripts or multiple identities); and any attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale or gain unauthorised access to the site.

8. Moderation

We are not obliged to monitor content, but we may review, hide, edit for formatting, or remove any content, and block any user or connection, at our sole discretion and without notice — including content that is reported by other users. Content reported by several people may be hidden automatically until reviewed.

9. Reporting content and copyright complaints

Use the “Report” button on any post, or write to contact@aibreakingpoint.com. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email us with: the address of the page, a description of the work, proof that you own the rights or act for the owner, and your contact details. We will review every notice and remove infringing content promptly.

10. The live poll

The poll shows the real, unedited votes of visitors to the site. It is a public opinion poll, not a scientific survey and not a prediction; the results are not statistically representative of any population.

11. Links to other websites

The site links to external sources. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices.

12. Availability and changes

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Breaking Point and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, income or reputation, arising out of or related to your use of the site, reliance on its content, user content, external links, or any interruption of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Breaking Point and its operators from any claim, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you post or from your breach of these terms or of the law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
